St. Cloud Professional Firefighters Local 4153
We are a union of dedicated, paid firefighters committed to protecting and serving the 70,000+ residents of St. Cloud and the surrounding 20-square-mile coverage area. Local 4153 represents the men and women of St. Cloud Fire Rescue in matters of compensation, benefits, working conditions, and contract negotiations with the city.
Our Mission
Our mission is threefold: to ensure the safety and professional development of our members, to advocate for fair labor practices and competitive compensation, and to uphold the highest standards of service to our community. We believe that well-trained, well-equipped, and fairly treated firefighters deliver better emergency response and stronger public safety outcomes.

We negotiate contracts that reflect the dangerous and demanding nature of our work.
Service
We answer the call every day — responding to fires, medical emergencies, hazmat incidents, and community needs with professionalism and courage.
Advocacy
We work alongside city leadership to secure the resources, staffing levels, and scheduling practices that retain experienced personnel and attract the next generation of firefighters.
