The firefighters of St. Cloud Fire Rescue are the backbone of public safety in our community. Every shift, our members respond to emergencies, support their neighbors, and put service above self. As your president, I am committed to ensuring that their dedication is met with fair compensation, safe working conditions, and competitive benefits.

This year, we are focused on implementing the 24/72 work schedule — a critical initiative that positions St. Cloud Fire Rescue competitively with surrounding departments and directly addresses retention of our most experienced firefighters. This schedule enhances both the quality of life for our members and the operational effectiveness of the department. We are working closely with city leadership to make this transition a reality.

Our members deserve to know that their union is fighting for them — for better contracts, for adequate staffing, for the resources needed to do this job safely. We will continue advocating for fair wages, comprehensive benefits, and a workplace that honors the sacrifice our firefighters make every single day.
